Elegantly Sustainable Magnolia Texas Wedding

Posted in: Wedding

Daniel and Meredith’s Beautiful Fall Wedding

Everything about Daniel and Meredith’s elegantly rustic and sustainable wedding in Magnolia Texas was absolutely beautiful!! From the wedding being held at the charming St. Mary’s Church in Plantersville Texas to the reception at a relatively new wedding venue in Magnolia Texas called The Meekermark, I absolutely fell in love with their wedding day!!!

Whimsical, Elegant and Sustainable Floral Decor

So before I go any further I need to take a minute to just rave about Meredith’s floral designer, Tin Cup Farm. I was looking over the questionnaire that I have all of my brides complete about a month before the wedding and I noticed who Meredith had chosen for her florals and I was curious, so of course I googled them. Being the gardener wanna be that I am, I may or may not have actually started jumping up and down when I saw she actually grows the flowers that she designs. Ya’ll, I was already beyond excited to capture Meredith and Daniel’s wedding in Magnolia Texas because those two are some THE SWEETEST and most laid back people you will ever meet and then you add locally grown flowers to this elegantly styled and now sustainable wedding and I was in a serious “just pinch me already mode”.

Family Matters Most

I began to understand just how important family was to both Meredith and Daniel during their engagement session that we shot at her parent’s place. When I asked why they didn’t choose to have the wedding at there, at her parent’s beautiful property, Meredith told me her sister got married there and it was a stressful time leading up to the wedding because of flooding rains that happened the week of her wedding and Meredith just didn’t want the stress of that and at the same time she would have felt horrible if it ended up being a beautiful day after what her sister had gone through. Ya’ll they made the right call!!! Meredith and Daniel got married the week tropical storm Imelda rolled through!! Though everything had started drying out by the day of their wedding, can you imagine what they would have been thinking that week?? As I have mentioned several times, a perk of this business is getting to meet my couples’ families and experience the love and joy first hand. Meredith and Daniel’s families were no different. Both sides were seriously kind and absolutely genuine people that loved the Lord and each other very much.
